武隆后坪侵蚀型天坑的发现及其科学与旅游价值

DISCOVERY OF EROSIONAL TIANKENG IN HOUPING, WULONG AND ITS VALUE OF SCLENCE AND TOURISM

武隆县后坪乡的天坑,是世界上首次发现的侵蚀性成因类型的天坑群,2001年3月25日由笔者在现场考察时发现,经2005年10月20日一批国际知名科学家实地考察确认,2006年初已作为世界自然遗产项目由我国政府正式向联合国科教文组织世界遗产委员会(WHC)申报。本文拟对后坪天坑群的科学发现、形成条件、科学价值与旅游价值及其资源保护问题作一初步讨论。

The tiankengs in Houping town, Wulong Country was discovered by author in 25. Math,2001. It is a first discovery as a erosion type of tiankeng in the world. And a group of very famous international scientists visited there again in 20, October, 2005. also as one of the World Heritage Project of South China Karst was applied to WHC in 2006. This paper is a summery report of the development conditions,value on science and tourism and resources protect on the erosional tiankeng.
