从本相存在与角色存在看“舜之封象”、“子为父隐”

On "Concealment by Son for Father" and "Shun's Conferring Title on Xiang" according to the Principle of Essential Existence and Role Existence

黄裕生先生从“本相存在与角色存在”的方法原则出发,认为“舜之封象”、“子为父隐”是违背公正原则的。其实,即使从这一方法原则出发,也不能得出上述观点。“舜之封象”、“子为父隐”不仅没有违背公正原则,反而正是本相法则在现实生活中的具体运用。在运用西方思想分析中国儒学的经典时,一定要注意对经典的理解,否则我们的分析就无法触及中国儒学的核心。

Mr. Huang Yusheng diagnosed that ＂Shun＇s conferring title on Xiang＂ and ＂oncealment by son for father＂ breached the principle of fairness according to the principle of ＂essential existence and role existence＂. In this thesis, this conclusion can not be drawn even based on this prin,;iple. ＂Shun＇s conferring title on Xiang＂ and ＂concealment by son for father＂ do not breach the principle of fairness. Instead, they are the concrete application of essence rule in reality. Western thought undoubtedly provides a new viewpoint for us to study Confucianism. However, when applying these methods,we must pay attention to the understanding of the classics, otherwise our analysis will be unable to touch the core of Chinese Confucianism.
