摘要
现代喷水推进装置已有340多年的历史,其演变过程主要经历了早期的喷射推进、液压泵推进、间歇性喷水推进、底板式喷水推进、尾板式喷水推进和外挂式喷水推进等几种类型,文中对各种类型喷水推进装置作了简要介绍;列举了喷水推进在现代各国舰船上的应用;最后归纳了喷水推进装置应用的特点,并就其未来的发展作了展望。
The evolution of the modern waterjet propulsion unit, which has a history of more than 340 years, experiences early jet system, hydraulic pumps, energy burst systems, bottom-mounted units, sternmounted waterjets and jet outboards. These forms of waterjet units are briefly introduced in the paper. Then the applications of waterjet propulsion in modern ships are enumerated. At last, some features and prospects of the applications of waterjet propulsion are summed up.
