摘要
概括地介绍了循环式活性污泥法(CAST工艺)的主要发展及其应用,对该法在一些大型污水处理厂的具体应用也作了简单的说明。CAST系统将可变容积活性污泥法过程与生物选择器原理有机地结合在一起使其有别于传统的SBRTA工艺。CAST工艺的平均出水水质为BOD<10mg/L,SS<10mg/L,总氮浓度<5mg/L以及总磷浓度<1mg/L。并对CAST系统中同时硝化和反硝化过程也作了简要的介绍。
This paper reports on notable developments in the application of cyclic activated sludge technology ( CAST ) and brief introductions to some large-scale sewage treatment works using this technology.The cyclic mode of treatment by using a variable-volume activated sludge process coupled with biological selector technology as distinct from the conventional sequential batch reactor ( SBR ) process can effectively reduce domestic wastewater concentrations of BOD 5, SS, Total N and P to less than average values of 10, 10, 5 and 1mg/L respectively. The paper also describes simultaneous nitrification-denitrification process in large-scale basin of CAST using diffused fine-bubble aeration.
