A case of a reform in English course assessment system in Zhejiang Vocational College of Commerce has proved that it is a practical and effective way to reform the existing summative assessment system focusing on the final examination to formative assessment depending on daily performances, which will cultivate learner autonomy and improve the effect of English learning.
