摘要 光纤的非线性效应对于光纤通信具有重要意义。准确测量光纤的非线性系数是有效利用或抑制各种非线性效应的基础。介绍了利用自相位调制测量非线性系数的原理并探讨了对实验装置的具体要求;给出了色散位移光纤(DSF)和普通单模光纤(SMF)的实测结果;结果表明,无论使用输出光谱左侧还是右侧的主瓣和旁瓣光强比值I0/I1均可计算出准确数值;最后讨论了偏振和色散对测量结果的影响。 The nonlinearities of the optical fibers are playing an important role in optical transmission systems. Measuring well the nonlinear coefficient of optical fibers is the base of effectively utilizing or restraining these nonlinearities. The measurement principle on CW-LD-self phase modulation (SPM) and the requirement on experiment setup are introduced, and the measurement results of dispersion shift fiber (DSF) and single mode fiber (SMF) are given. It draws the conclusion that the true results can be got no matter which light intensity ratio I0/I1 (right or left). At last,the influences of polarization and chromatic dispersion are discussed.
