在现代解释学理论中,存在着这样一种文本“意义”观:文本的意义是一种精神存在,它存在于读者的头脑中;文本的意义不是作品的原意而是读者的理解;作品的原意是不能把握的;文本的意义不是由作者而是由读者赋予的,因而是历史地变动的。这种文本“意义”观是和人们的理解实践相矛盾的,在理论逻辑上也存在诸多的矛盾。文本的意义不是任何存在物,它是作品能够传达的作者的思想、情感,文本一经产生,意义不变,文本的意义能为读者正确理解。

There is a viewpoint concerning the meaning of text in modern hermeneutic theory ： the meaning of the text is kind of spiritual existence and it exists in the reader＇s mind; it is the＇reader＇s understanding instead of the article＇s original meaning, which is impossible to grasp; the meaning is given by the reader instead of the writer and therefore, changes historically. This viewpoint is contradictory to people＇s understanding and there are various conflicts in the theoretic logic. The meaning of the text isn＇t anything being there, instead, it is the writer＇s thoughts and feelings given by the article. Once the text comes into being, the meaning will not change and it can be correctly understood by the reader.
