From Patriarchal Society to Civil Society:the Logic of the Process of Constructing Nomocracy

宗法社会是我国传统社会的社会结构,是人治的土壤。现代公民社会则是法治的必然结果。公民社会成熟的程度体现了法治实现的程度;反之,公民社会的成熟又有力地推动着社会法治的完善。

The patriarchal society makes the social structure of the traditional Chinese society, and works as the cradle for ＂rule by humanity＂, while the modem civil society is the inevitable result of ＂rule of law＂. The degree to which a civil society gets matured indicates the degree to which the rule of law is realized. In return, the maturity of a civil society strongly promotes the perfection of nomocracy.
