A Small Temple for Consecrating Humanity─—The Construction of Humanity Beauty in Novel 《Border Town》

“人性”在沈从文心目中一直占据着至高无上的位置。在《边城》中,我们可以从字里行间看到作家一砖一瓦地堆砌他的理想家园,看到他对人生、社会的深沉思考和探索。《边城》深刻表现了作家对“美的人性”的赞美,对生命理想的倾心追求以及对于潜隐的人性悲哀的揭露,而这一切无不植根于其对理想家园的建构。

In the heart of the writer Mr. Shen Congwen, ＂humanity＂ occupied the highest position all the time. In his novel 《Border Town》, from the lines we can read out his ideal homeland, built by the writer a brick and a tile, read out his deep thinking and exploring for life and social ideal. Through the novel （〈Border Town）） the writer expressed a thorough praise to ＂beautyfull humanity＂, and his heart - to - heart persuing to life ideal, and exposed hiding humanity sorrow. All of these are based on his construction of ideal homeland.
