彭元瑞的《宋四六话》在体制上体现了与众不同的特点,反映了当时文人对文学的认识。《宋四六话》不仅总结了宋代的四六话,也体现了清乾嘉时期的骈散相争的情况,在骈文学史上有一定的意义,具有一定的学术价值。

The distiguished features of the poetic patterns in Peng Yuanrui＇s Song Si Liu Hua, a summary of euphuistic style of parallel constructions known for their pairs of sentences of four and six characters of the Song Dynasty, reflects the literary acknowledge of scholars and officials at that time and reveals the rivalry of parallel constructions and ordinary prose writing in the reigns of Qianlong and Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty. Thus Song Si Liu Hua is important in the history of parallel prose for its academic value.
