A Pilot Project Report of the Five-Year Higher Vocational Education

1999年,江苏电大率先在全国电大系统内举办“五年一贯制大专教育试点”,学校将其列为“人才培养模式改革和开放教育试点”项目研究的重点课题。五年制高职教育课题组以及中专校、职技院同仁,根据国家大力发展职业教育的决定、管理办法,结合电大远程教育以及三级管理体系的实际,经过5年的努力探索,创建了一整套电大五年制高职教育教学、管理办法,并在实践中不断完善,成功地实现了电大系统内中、高等职业教育的衔接与沟通,创设了电大系统内办学新模式和新层次,走出了发展高等职业教育的新路子。

In 1999, Jiangsu Radio ＆ TV University took the lead in the RTVU system nationwide raising a pilot project on five-years-in-a-row junior college education, which was listed as the pivot project of ＂ innovation of talent-cultivating model and open education experimental researching project＂. Based on the government＇s decision and administrative measures of vigorous developing vocational education, and combined with the RTVU＇s distance education and the three-level management svstem practice, the project group of five-year high vocational education created a whole set of teaching and managing method for the RTVU＇s five-year high vocational education by 5-years of endeavor. This method has been completed in practice, and has successfully made up for the gap between the junior and higher vocational education within the RTVU system. It has also created a new education model and level for RTVUs as well as a new future for developing distance high vocational education.
