A Review of Zheng Wangchen and His Posthumous Works

郑王臣是清乾隆朝福建莆田文学家,著有《兰陔诗集》、《兰陔四六》、《黄石山人集》等,并编有莆田一地的诗歌总集《莆风清籁集》(附《兰陔诗话》)。郑王臣的《莆风清籁集》及《兰陔诗话》,不仅对莆田清乾隆之前的诗歌作了总结,而且提出了不少有益的文学主张,对我们今天研究福建地方文学和文献具有重要的参考价值。

Zheng Wangchen, a Putian writer in the Qian Long Dynasty, outstands for his works such as Lan Gai＇s Poetry Anthology, Lan Gai＇s Parallel Prose and A Huangshi Hermit＇s Poetry Anthology; and for his compilation Putian Natives＇ Poetry Anthology with Lan Gai＇s Poetry Talks attached. The latter two books not only sum up all the poems of Putian writers before the Qian Long Dynasty, but also put forward many useful viewpoints of literature, which is of great reference value to our study of Fujian local literature and documents today.
