开杂18号是开封市农林科学研究所选育的黑皮、中熟西瓜新品种。全生育期103 d,果实发育期33 d,具有果个大、果皮黑且韧、品质优、易坐果、抗性强、适应范围较广等突出优点。

Kaiza No. 18 watermelon is a new hybrid variety developed by Kaifeng Research Institute of Agricuhural and Forest Sciences. It has medium maturity with 103 days of whole growing period and 33 days of fruit developing period. It has these outstanding features： a large fruit, black and hard skin, high yield and quality, resistant to disease,easy to set fruit, resistant to diseases and good adaptability.
