摘要
文化研究是20世纪中后期以来人文社会科学研究的一个重要思潮,其源于时代变迁引起的社会生活的转型与文化自身的变化。无论从什么意义上看,现代文化总是与传媒密不可分,甚至从某种意义上说,它们是一个硬币的两面。传媒文化的概念充分体现了这一关系。因此,传媒研究的文化转向势在必行,这种转向打破了传统学科的界限,为传播和媒介研究提供了全新的视野和研究方法,它要求我们深入探究传媒文本背后的权力关系,使传媒研究从“工具理性”转向“价值理性”。
Cultural studies has been one of the important main trends of thinking in humanities since mid-20th Century. The trend derived from changes of living conditions as well as changing of culture itself based on the time. Culture, especially modern culture, is closely connected with media. It is to some degree llke two sides of the same coin, which the concept of media culture fully mani- fests. As a result, the shift of culture in media studies is deemed to break up the boundaries between different traditional disciplines, to open up a new world for communication as well as media studies by providing brand-new visions and approaches. It requires us to search the relationships of power behind texts of media, and make media studies shift from instrumental reason to reason with value.
