On Oriental Emotions in Zhu Xiang's Poetry

朱湘,这位活跃于20世纪20年代中国新诗坛上的新月诗人,曾被誉为新诗尝试期后中国四大诗人之一。他在诗中着力表现的是东方味十足的内涵,绘制了一幅幅淳厚的华夏风情画,凝结着东方式的、农民的、女性的情结。

Zhu Xiang, the crescent poet, who was active in China＇s new Parnassus in 1920s, was ever famed as one of the four famous poets in China in the period of new poetry attempt. What he tried to express is the connotations full of oriental flavor. He presented pieces of paintings full of rich China taste, which reflects the oriental, peasants and female emotions.
