摘要
对装入一个空腔中的电流变体(ER)进行了切向超声波传输特性的研究。对接收的超声信号通过模/数转换器记录下来,并进行Fourier分析。经与粘弹性固体与粘弹性液体中的切变波的数学模型比较之后,发现ER流体相对于切变波的传输相当于粘弹性固体媒质,而非粘弹性液体媒质。
The experiment on the transmission of transverse supersonic wave in ER fluid subjected to various high voltages was carried out in a plastic chamber with two PZ (piezoelectric) transducers on both sides. The signal was recorded digitally through an A/D converter, and analyzed with Fourier transform afterwards. The attenuation of the signal amplitude at different frequencies monotonously depends on the applied high voltages. After comparing different mathematic models of the propagation of transverse wave in viscose elastic fluid and/or elastic solid, an important conclusion was drawn, that the behavior of the ER fluid can not be described by the viscose elastic fluid model, but the viscose elastic solid model.
