While much work is put onto increasing the speed of trains we must not forget how important it is to stop them. Employing rolling stock with efficient braking systems is integral to a network＇s safety and maintaining this system should be a priority. To this end, engineers from German-based Knorr-Bremse has created an intelligent control system while Miner from the US has produced a state-of-the-art brake beam.
