摘要
场发射显示器件（ＦＥＤ）正在成为新一代平板显示器件。本文简要介绍ＦＥＤ的发展历史，列举出ＦＥＤ与ＣＲＴ及ＬＣＤ相比的优点。介绍ＦＥＤ的工作原理、制作技术及其发展动态。还讨论了ＦＥＤ制作中的一些重要问题。
Field emission display (FED)is becoming a new generation of flat panel display(FPD). Development history of FED is introduced briefly in this paper. Advantages of FED ascompared with CRT and LCD and its applications are discribed. FED's operation principle,manufacturing technology and its development state are presented. Some important problems in manufacturing FED are discussed as well.
