Quality Education in Engineering Mechanics

任何一门学科都有一部悠久的发展史。力学作为一门古老的学科,它展示了曲折辉煌的发展过程,也记录了阿基米德、牛顿、爱因斯坦等一代大师艰难开拓的历程和精彩趣闻轶事。将力学史渗透到力学的教学中,一方面可调动学生的学习兴趣,引发学生的求知欲;另一方面将不畏艰辛、执着追求的科学精神、辩证唯物主义科学的方法论和爱国主义的思想在潜移默化中传输给学生,从而达到教书育人的目的。

Every subject has a developing history of its own. As an ancient subject, mechanics shows a sinuous brilliant process, recording the exploring experiences and interesting anecdotes of Argimde, Newton and Einstein. Penetrated with mechanics history, mechanics education can stimulate the students＇ study interest and generate their curiosity; meanwhile, fearless perseverant scientific spirit, dialectical materialism scientific methodology and patriotism thoughts can he transmitted to the students, reaching the purpose of imparting knowledge and educating people.
