The Application of Internet and Multimedia in TEFL and the Evasion of its Negative Effects

将网络和多媒体技术引入外语教学，改变了传统的外语教学模式。网络和多媒体技术的使用从教学理念、教学模式、教学方法等诸多方面给外语教学提出了许多新要求。我们应当从理论上认识网络和多媒体技术的正面效应，同时也要认识其负面效应，以便在使用时趋利避害。

The introduction of the technique of intemet and multimedia to TEFL has changed the traditional mould of language teaching. The appheation of the technique puts forward a lot of new requirements in terms of teaching awareness, teaching mould and methodology. It is necessary to realize both the positive and the negative effects of the technique, so as to make proper use of intemet and multimedia in language teaching.
