Fair Play Should Be Carried Out: Adjustment of Critical Stance on Lately Arising Literature

网络文学和“80后”写作是兴起于上世纪90年代末的两种文学现象,而相对滞后的文学批评却无疑会阻碍其健康成长。本文力图描绘当代批评界对这两种新兴文学现象的阐释状况,剖析了“捧杀”与“棒杀”两种误读式批评产生的原因及危害,倡导真诚民主、客观公允的批评姿态。

Network literature and writing appearing after 1980s are two literary phenomena arising in the late 1990s, and the literary criticism which relatively lags behind would undoubtedly prevent them from growing healthily. This article tries to describe how the contemporary critics explain two new phenomena, and analyze the cause and harm of over- flattery and excessively severe criticism, and advocate a critical attitude involving sincerity, democracy, objectivity and fairness.
