摘要
笔者对英国保护、研究和发展杜鹃进行了考察,考察植物园和公园22个,其中具有杜鹃的16个。英国保护、研究和发展杜鹃的历史就是杜鹃引种繁殖的历史。目前,杜鹃在英国除了不断深入研究外,其保护和发展已普及到了民间。重视杜鹃的保护是我国物种多样性保护的重要方面。
An investigation on conservation and development of Rhododendron in United Kingdom has been completed. 16 gardens and parks of 22 that we have investigated in United Kingdom have Rhododendrons. The history of conservating. researching and developing of Rhododendron in United Kingdom is a history of introducing seeds or seedings from another countries. Addition to the studies on Rhododendron, the scientific knowledgy of conservating and developing of Rhododendron has been spreaded among the people in United Kingdom. It is an important respect of diversity of botany that to pay attention to the conservation of Rhododendron in China
