摘要
宁乡炭河里遗址的大规模发掘,取得了令人瞩目的成果,其中西周时期城址的发现和确认,是近年来南方地区商周考古重要的发现之一。本文通过出土陶器和遗迹的年代对应关系判断,该城址始建于西周早期,使用年代为西周早中期,废弃年代不早于西周晚期,是湘江流域西周时期某一支地方青铜文化的中心聚落,或者说是西周时期独立于周王朝之外的某个方国的都邑所在地。炭河里城址与宁乡铜器群有密切关系,属于同一个古代政治或文化共同体。
The large-scale excavation of the Tanheli site obtained many significant achievements. The discovery and confirmation of the city site of the Western Zhou is one of the most important discoveries in rencent south China's archaeology of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties. Judged from the unearthed pottery and relics'- date, the city site was built in the early Western Zhou, was used in the early and middle Western Zhou, and its disuse date was not later than the late Western Zhou. The city is a centeral dwelling place of a local bronze culture which originated from the Xiangjiang River Vally, in other words, it is a city of a vassal state which was independent from the Western Zhou. Tanheli city site and bronze group of Ningxiang have close relation and belong to a union of ancient politics or culture.
