7月18日晚，由中国服装设计师协会，乌鲁木齐市人民政府主办，东方宾利文化发展中心承办的2006“丝绸之路”国际模特大赛总决定在乌鲁木齐环球大酒店如期举行。
On the evening of July 18 2006 Silk Road Internalional Models Contest. which is organized by China Fashion Association. Urumchi Peoples Government and Beijing Orient Bentley Culture Development Center. was held in Urumchi Hotel World Plaza. About 40 models from 31 countries： China, America, Britain, France, Germany,Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan entered the final. At last, Yon Yuting from China gel the first place,Galina from Poland got the second place and Liza from ltaly got the third place.
