护士对老年病人疼痛知识掌握的现状调查及对策

The investigation of nurses′ knowledge of pain in the elderly and management strategies

目的了解临床护士对老年病人疼痛知识掌握程度。方法采用Rod Sloman设计的“老年人疼痛知识调查量表”对670名在岗护士进行了问卷调查。结果疼痛知识问卷平均分仅为41.17分;不同教育背景、年龄、职称,以及是否参加过疼痛管理知识的培训班的护士得分方面没有统计学差异,但不同年龄段、工作在不同的医院和不同的临床科室的护士得分有显著差异。结论大多数的被调查者缺乏足够的老年病人疼痛护理知识,建议加强临床护士相应的疼痛管理培训课程的继续教育及在校护生的疼痛知识基础课程的教育,并鼓励护士积极参与疼痛管理的实践,共同促进疼痛管理实践标准化。

Objective To investigate the current level of nurses＇ knowledge of pain and pain management in the elderly. Methods In this research,670 registered nurses in three hospitals were surveyed with the questionnaire about pain and pain management with respect to elderly. Results The findings showed that mean score obtained from the questionnaire was only 41.17 and nurses lacked knowledge in this area. There were no significant differences among nurses in terms of education background, position and whether they had training of pain management. However, there were statistically significant differences among scores of nurses at different ages ,hospitals and clinical areas. Conclusion This survey suggested that nurses＇ knowledge of pain regarding the elderly be improved by enhancing basic and continuing education of them. The nurses should actively play an important role in pain management and standardization of the practice.
