从世界的东端到西端 意大利特雷维索“丝绸之路中国古代文明”展

From the East End to the West End The Silk Road: Chinese Ancient Civilization Held in Treviso, Italy

意大利和中国,分处于古代世界的东西两端, 有着深刻的历史和地理渊源。作为曾经雄踞世界东、西方的文明古国,两国为人类文明的进步作出过巨大贡献。很早,一条沟通东方和西方的商业贸易之路,就像一座桥梁将两国连接起来,东西方友好交往的历史也在这条路上衍生、发展和延续。但在许多世纪中,这两种文明各自发展,甚至对立和敌视。而在全球化的今天,需要我们在尊重多样化的同时,抛弃不信任,去认识长久以来被认为遥不可及、甚至是难以理解的东西。在中法文化年落下帷幕之后,我们又迎来了中意文化年。今年在中国举行的意大利文化年的一系列文化活动已陆续展开,而与此同时,一场关于中国古代文明的展览也在意大利的特雷维索拉开了序幕。这次展览名为“丝绸之路——中国古代文明”,是一次综合性、跨地域的大型文物展,由中华文物交流协会和卡萨马卡基金会联合举办,中国文物交流中心承办,在意大利北部的维尼托大区(Veneto)特雷维索(Treviso)的卡拉雷兹宫(Casa dei Carraresi)举行。展览从2005年10月21日开始,预计将持续到2006年5月份,到现在已经约有10余万观众参观了这次展览。这次展览是将在意大利举行的“丝绸之路和中国文明”四个双年展中的首个展览,展览的策划人是一位热爱中国历史文化、对中国有深厚感情、有“现代马可·波罗”之称的意大利人亚德里亚诺·马达罗(Adriano·M adaro),通过他的视角,西方人也许能更真切具体地感受到中国古代文明的辉煌成就,激发对中国的热爱;而我们,或许能从另一个角度重新认识我们的过去,以更加开放的心态面对中华文化和西方文化。

For many centuries, Italy and China, two ancient nations located at two ends of the Silk Road had experienced separate development and sometimes hatred and conflicts. A fruitful Sino-French Cultural Year is now followed by Sino-Italy Cultural Year. An exhibition entitled The Silk Road: Chinese Ancient Civilization was launched in Treviso, Italy. From its opening in October 2005 till today, about 100,000 visitors came to the show. It is the first exhibition among four biennial events held in Italy and the sponsor is Mr. Adriano M a daro, an Italian famed as modern Marco Polo for his love of Chinese history and culture. In his perspective, more westerners might experience the glorious ancient Chinese civilization and embrace both eastern and western cultures with an open attitude.
