郑观应是中国近代史上一位重要的思想家,其《盛世危言》有许多关于教育的精辟见解。他将改革教育制度看作民族自强的重要途径,主张仿照西方广设新式学校并教授西学,以培养人才、复兴中华。他为实践自己的教育思想做了大量具体实际的工作。
