Multivariate Statistical Analysis of Case Board Properties

用多元统计分析中的主成分分析方法，采用计算机对约几十份国内外箱纸板多项性能所测试的数千个数据进行了分析处理。

Sampling 36 kinds of liner board and testing their properties such as short span compression strength,tensile strength,tearing strength,bursting strength,ring crush,stiffness,Z direction bonding,thickness,density and then calculating the test results according to the “principal components analysis”mathematical model.It reveals that the first component which comtrols the characteristics of the liner board is the structure strength which is decided by the fibers and then linking.This component accounts for about 57% of the total strength of the liner board and is the first and most important aspect.The second component whick charges the liner board is the Z direction bonding,it accounts for about 18% of the total strength.The third and the fourth are the thickness and density of the liner board and account for about 10% of the total strength(at the same basis weight)respectively.In addition to the calculation of the strength distribution the classification of the properties which can be put into 4 groups was carried out .I:short span compressiom strength,tensile strength,tearing strength,bursting strength,ring crush,-the strength group.Ⅱ:Z-direction bonding strength group.Ⅲ:thickness.Ⅳ:density.Besides the liner board similar results were obtained form the other kinds of case board such as corrugating medium were conducted.
