Mr. Wang Xingru, President of Cosco Shipyard Group, was successfully elected as the chairman of the Association of China Ship Repair Industry in the annual association conference on March 30th, 2006. Mr. Wang is the first chairman elected directly from shipyard, while previous chairmen normally from government authority. Upon his inauguration, Mr. Wang expressed that he would dedicate to lead the association contribute to the development of National industry by enhancing the cooperation and coordination among the members of the association in the aspects of marketing information, technology and management.
