The Region and Figures of Ningbo in the Political Situations of Six Dynasties

在六朝期内,宁波地域的战略地位,较为明显地呈现出日益下降的趋向,并大致可以东扬州的创置为界分为前后两期。相应地,宁波人物见于史册者,其政治地位和社会影响亦不如此前。诸如此者,皆与皇权自刘宋中叶以降渐趋强化有关。

The strategic status of Ningbo evidently declined in Six Dynasties, which can be divided into two stages. In fact, the establishment of East Yang state was a line of demarcation to the Ningbo＇ evolvement in that times. Accordingly, the political situations and society influence of Ning, bo figures descended too. These resulted from the gradual intensification of imperial power starting from the middle period of Song Dynasty.
