《段注》对《说文》“藟”等16字入部的理解——读《段注》草、木二部札记

On the Interpretation of the Radical Arrangement of Sixteen Chinese Characters in Annotations of Shuowen Jiezi

《说文解字》草、木二部字入部的一般原则是草属字入草部、木属字入木部。但其中“藟”等16个与植物名称有关的字在入部时却不遵从这一原则。其具体的入部处理又有不同情形。段玉裁《说文解字注》依据“某一字所指称的植物的性状”和《说文》一贯的“统言……析言……”条例这两点来理解与阐释《说文》对这一问题的处理,并由此形成了草属、木属类字训释的特殊条例。

Xu Shen＇s Shuowen Jiezi proposed the principle of organization by sections with shared components, namely section headers. However, this principle was not observed when analyzing sixteen characters representing names of plants. This paper aims to analyze the interpretation of the special radical arrangement of these Chinese characters in Annotations of Shuowen Jiezi written by Duan Yucai.
