Comparison and contrast of speech sounds in teaching overseas students Chinese

语音是语言客观存在的物质形式。在对外汉语教学中,语音教学首当其冲。掌握科学的教学方法是语音教学成功的重要因素。文章以对以英语为母语的留学生进行语音教学为例,结合教学实践,讨论了语音对比和我们认为行之有效的语音对比教学法。

Speech sounds are the physical substance of language. In teaching overseas students Chinese, speech sounds are a focal component. Scientific teaching method is instrumental to success in teaching overseas students Chinese. This paper takes the case of teaching native speakers of English speech sounds for example, and on the basis of teaching practice probes the comparative and contrastive method for instruction of speech sounds.
