Reconstructing the Sealing of a Ljungstrom Air Preheater's Central Drum

通过对回转式空气预热器中心筒轴端密封漏风、漏灰问题的分析,对盘根填料密封与浮动环密封进行了对比。提出将中心筒密封改为两腔室的浮动环密封,彻底解决了中心筒轴端泄漏问题,消除了设备潜在的安全隐患,确保机组安全稳定运行。

A proposal is put forth for changing the existing sealing of a Ljungstrom air preheater＇s central drum for one of double chamber floating ring construction, after having beforehand analyzed the air and dust leakage problem, observed at the shaft＇ s terminal sealing of the preheater＇ s central drum, followed by a comparison made between gland packing and floating rings. The leakage problem is herby finally solved and the latent danger of impairing safety of operation eliminated.
