概述了在用户需求和市场竞争的推动以及盈利机会的吸引之下,手机电视业务逐渐成为全球性的热点业务。从运营商赛前手机电视部署行动以及比赛期间的一些实际效果,指出世界杯对手机电视的发展确实起到了催化剂的作用。分析世界杯同时也成为手机电视技术和业务的试验田。一方面,移动运营商利用这次赛事,广泛开展了手机电视技术的推广和试验,另一方面,运营商也通过手机电视业务的使用对消费者的需求、使用习惯以及对价格的承受能力进行了测试。
Pushed by needs of users and market competition, and attracted by the profit opportunity, handset TV service gradually becomes a global hotspot service. According to the deployment of handset TV before the match and some actual effects during the match, this article points out that the World Cup acted as the catalyst in the development of handset TV. Then, it also considers that the World Cup is an experimental plot for handset TV technology and service. On one hand, by utilizing this match, mobile carriers has widely carried out some popularization and experimental works on handset TV technology; on the other hand, the carriers has made some tests on the needs of users, the operating habits and the acceptable price.
