宋代魏仲举所编的《五百家注音辨昌黎先生集》虽非出自专家之手,难以全面地总结宋代韩学的成就,但它仍是宋代韩学的的渊薮,其价值不容低估。《五百家注音辨昌黎先生集》的工作主要集中在集注、集评、校勘等方面。它在校勘方面略显薄弱,但其集注、集评却价值极高。《五百家注音辨昌黎先生集》中引用到的主要注家、注本虽大多已经失传,但其基本的面貌、格局、风格等都可以据它进行勾勒。集评中所保存的大量资料,其文献、文化、文学价值也都弥足珍贵。

Though ＂Changli Collection Commented by Five Hundred People＂ compiled by Wei Zhongju in Song dynasty does not come from an expert and can not summarize the achievements of the studies of Han Yu in Song dynasty, it is still a rich gathering of the studies of Han Yu in Song dynasty, and its value can not be underestimated. This collection mainly focuses on the aspects of the collecting and commenting, noting and remedying. Though its remedying is a little bit weak, its commenting and noting have a high value. Though the main notes, notes cited in this collection have lost, their basic features, general layouts and styles can be outlined according to this collection. The literature, culture and literary value of the large number of data preserved in this collection are also very rare.
