It＇s a meaningful work to combine XML data with a relational database,and storing XML documents into, relational tables has been one of the hot topics in the area of database research. Segmented bit vector coding schemes are advanced to obtain a mapping model with high efficiency . The principle of how to store XML doruments regardless of small or large scale into relational storage based on segmented bit vector coding scheme is discussed, and the corresponding operation and performance aralysis are also given.
