Chixi is a village in Ganzhu Town, Guangchang County, Jiangxi Province. The village has some 100 households most of which are surnamed Zeng. In the rst lunar month every year, villagers surnamed Zeng play Meng opera, an indigenous theatric form unique to this inland village.
