摘要 基质金属蛋白酶(MMPs)是一组能降解所有细胞外基质的蛋白溶解酶家族,亦是致类风湿性关节炎(RA)不可逆关节损害的主要原因之一。而所有MMPs的活性均可被相应的组织金属蛋白酶抑制剂(TIMPs)所抑制。下调MMPs和(或)上调TIMPs是治疗类风湿性关节炎的重要策略之一。 Matrix metallopruteinases(MMPs) are a family of matrix-degrading enzymes of the extracollular matrix and contribute to inreversible joint destruction. MMPs are all inhibited by tissue inhibitors of matrix metalloproteinase (TIMPs). Down-regulation of MMPs and/or up-regulation of TIMPs are principal strategies of therapy in rheumatoid arthritis.
