摘要
泛素化是一种重要的蛋白质翻译后修饰,控制着细胞内大量的重要过程。泛素介导的蛋白质降解是其最早确定的功能,并被称为泛素的经典通路。近年来更多泛素通路被发现,这些通路与经典通路截然不同,因此都称为泛素的非经典通路。泛素新通路显示泛素除了介导蛋白质降解,还参与DNA损伤修复,介导炎症信号转导,调控蛋白质转运,甚至促进蛋白质合成。对这些新通路的研究可以拓展人们对泛素的认识,并且有助于对整个生命过程的理解。
Ubiquitination is an important posttranslational protein modification,regulating a host of critical cellular processes. Initially, ubiquitin is considered as a mediator for proteolysis, so ubiquitin-proteasome pathway is called cannonieal pathway. In recent years, many more pathways related to ubiquitin have heen found, which is different significantly to the canonical one anti called noncannonical pathways. The new findings showed that ubiquitin also participated in the recovery of DNA damage, mediated transduetion of inflammation signal, regulated protein transport and even promoted protein synthesis besides of its effect in mediating protein degradation . The study of these novel pathway is beneficial to elucidate the function of ubiquitin in the cellular processes and comprehend the whole vital process.
