Acetic acid is an important intermediate in organic chemical industry. Currently, annual domestic capacity is being raised to 1 765 thousand tons. The production capacity using Oxo synthesis is over 60% in China. The marketconsuming rate has been jumping up in recent years. Hence, the supply of acetic acid is well below market needs. However, with new production lines being established, production capacity is tending to be full. Thus, marketing competitiveness will be more serious.
