摘要
托马斯.哈代在小说和诗歌方面都取得了巨大的成就,他在文学理论方面也有建树。他对文学与现实的关系、小说以及悲剧的创作都提出了一些颇有见地的见解,值得我们重视。哈代的文学思想是他文学遗产的一个重要组成部分。
Thomas Hardy not only made great achievements in both novel and poetry, but also made his contribution to the theory of hterature. He had insightful views on the relationship between literature and reality, and on the writing of novel and tragedy. His literary thoughts constitute an important part of his legacy and therefore deserve our attention.
