On Hardy's Artistic Creation and Religious Attitude Revealed in Tess of the d'Urbervilles

本文通过对哈代的长篇力作《德伯家的苔丝》的创作艺术和作品中主要人物性格命运的分析,指出邪恶虚伪的宗教是一切社会罪恶的根源,更是导致苔丝悲惨命运的元凶。在此基础上,文章论述了作家在小说创作中所体现出来的批判邪恶宗教的立场观点。

By means of analyzing the artistic creation and the rate arrangements of me protagonists, Hardy＇s novel Tess, this paper stresses the evil religious doctrines and the conventional ideology are the root of all social evils, which directly leads to Tess＇s miserable life. On this basis, the paper further bespeaks Hardy＇s criticism of the evil religion revealed in Tess of the dUrbervilles.
