Modeling for national fundamental geographic information vector data based on object-relation data model

本文总结了GIS空间数据模型的发展历程,通过对比分析当前主流的GIS数据模型的优缺点,指出对象关系型数据模型能够更好地组织和管理地理数据。并探索将对象关系型数据模型应用到国家基础地理信息数据管理和利用中,提出全国1∶100万数据库模型,并以政区为例证明该模型可以对空间数据进行有效地组织管理。

This paper summarizes the evolution process of GIS spatial data model.Based on the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of current prevalent GIS data model,the paper point out that the object-relation data model can improve the organization and management of spatial data.It also tries to apply the object-relation data model to the management of national fundamental geographic information data.The data model of national 1:1,000,000 geospatial database is proposed.Finally it demonstrates that the model can manage spatial data effectively with illustration of administrative areas.
