摘要
20世纪80年代末,霍尔以“新时代”计划为开端,介入现代性认同政治批判,提出系统的族裔散居文化认同理论。在后殖民理论与后现代、全球化理论之间开辟了新的后殖民理论空间,为后殖民研究转向、为后殖民族裔散居认同的进一步理论化和系统化提供了有力的支点。这不仅是霍尔的学术转折点,也是大的学术转变的历史症候。
From the end of the 1980s, beginning with the ＂New Times＂ project, Stuart Hall intervened in the critique of the identity politics of modernity and made systematic theorization on diasporic cultural identity. This opened up a new space of postcolonial theory between postcolonial theory and postmodernism, between postcolonial theory and globalization theory. It is a strong point purporting the internal turn of postcolonial studies and further systematic theorization of postcolonial diasporic identity. It is not only the academic turning point of Stuart Hall but also the historical symptom of a grand academic turn.
