In view of the characteristics of the Axle shaft gear die that there existing a lot of standard parts and typical structures in the die, a 3D standard - part database for the Axle shaft gear die was built on the platform of SolidWorks by using the VB object - oriented programming technology. When designing Axle shaft gear die with this system, users can reason by transferring data of knowledge database. A laconic, simple interface for injection mold was designed in order to make this system more acceptable.
