An inverse eigenvalue problem for anti-symmetric orthogonal anti-symmetric matrices is discussed. The solvability conditions and the expression of the general solution for this problem are obtained. When it is solvable, the unique solution, which is an optimal approximation to a given matrix, is also given. In addition, and algorithm and an example for this problme are presented.
