The Status and Solutions of Landfilling Process in Lanzhou

通过对兰州市生活垃圾填埋现状的调查研究,得出兰州市没有市属填埋场,各区填埋场均属简易填埋类型,存在渗沥液和填埋气体的污染问题.分析了在选址、垃圾坝、填埋作业、管理与资金等方面的问题.指出了问题产生的原因和危害,并提出了相应的对策和建议.

By investigating the present status for dealing with the urban domestic garbage in Lanzhou, we have found that there are no large municipal-owned landfill sites and every community landfill site is of a simple type. The serious pollution problems comes chiefly from leachate and landfill gas. The problems of location, garbage dam, landfilling process, management and funds are discussed. The causes of the disaster are explored. Some solutions and suggestions were also given.
