《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》要求学校应重视计算机和网络技术等新型教学手段的运用。结合该要求,以社会建构主义理论为基础,提出网络辅助的英语过程写作教学模式并分析其特点。该模式强调在写作教学中“以学生为中心”,以网络和多媒体为手段,培养学生的自主学习能力,提高学生的英语写作水平。

Teaching syllabus for English majors requires that new teaching media, such as computer, internet, multimedia should be fully employed. Based on the social eonstructivist theory, the Web- aided mode of process writing is advocated. This mode, which employs the internet and multi - media in the students- centered classroom, can cultivate students＂ autonomous learning ability and improve students＂ writing skills.
