Translation of Figures of Speech in Jinling Panci in The Dream of Red Mansion

《红楼梦》诗词无疑是极美的,其翻译无疑也是极难的。通过对金陵判词的一部分修辞格(包括典故、双关、析字藏字、押韵等)的原文和译文的对比分析,倡导在诗歌翻译中不但要保留原文的意境美,也要尽量传达原文的形式美、声音美和文化内涵美。

The poems in The Dream of Red Mansion are undoubtedly extremely beautiful, yet their translation is undoubtedly extremely difficult either. By examining and analyzing some figures of speech （ including allusions, puns, anagrams and hidden words, rhymes, etc. ） in the original and the two translated versions of Panel, we propose that in translation of poems, not only the beautifulness of sense, but also that of form, of sound and of cultural connotation should be preserved as much as possible.
