摘要
介绍了有关模糊语言的基本理论知识,从文学、法律、政治、广告、新闻等方面举例,分析了模糊语言在不同文体和不同语境里所体现的语用功能。
Vague language is a linguistic phenomenon widely existing in human communication, and is a topic many linguists make efforts to study. This paper studies the basic language knowledge of vagueness, and tries to analysis pragmatic functions in different language situations, such as literature, law, politics, advertisement, news, and other everyday spoken English.
